My brother and sister-in-law decided to leave the gender a surprise until the birth of their baby, and we were all SO excited to find out that they had a boy! (Our family has had all girls up until this point.) So here he is, my adorable nephew! He was an absolute dream to capture, such a calm and mellow baby. Being that this little boy is going to grow up on the same wonderful farm that I grew up on, we had to have a tractor picture. 🙂 I just LOVE all of his dark hair, and his cute little chin, and his tiny toes, and…all of him. Enjoy the cuteness!
Baby A: 6 Months
It has been 6 months since I gave birth to this beautiful, happy, chatty little girl. Her name, Alayna, literally means ray of light, and that she truly is. There are several pictures that I think you can almost hear her squealing in delight as daddy or her big sister Kylie did something silly to get her to smile. 🙂 And isn’t she rocking those two little toofers of hers?
The time has gone by much too quickly my little love, but I treasure every moment of these last few months with you.

Last fall I got to take pictures of this very beautiful and very sweet family as well. This year we went to Lake Nokomis for a late summer shoot. Aren’t their outfits just perfectly coordinated? I told K that I was going to hire her to be my stylist for other family sessions! 😉 I can hardly believe how much their children have grown up in a year, time does fly! I just loved seeing all their little personalities come out during the shoot. I have a little bench that we use for painting our home that I made all four kiddos cram on last year, so we had to try to do that shot again. The oldest saying, “Oh no, not this shot again!” I told him we were going to do it every year until they couldn’t fit! The outtakes from those were pretty fantastic. 🙂 Thanks J family for another wonderful session, I can hardly wait to work with you again!
Baby G: 6 Months
Where oh where has the time gone? Little G is now 6 months old (just a tiny bit older than my little girl). His family came down to visit me in my “studio” (also known as me shoving my love seat into our dining room and setting up my backdrop stand…and then moving to our back yard :)) We had a grand ol’ time! G is just the most laid back little guy, and boy is he ever STRONG. He’s already crawling and pushing himself up to sitting! As always, his family was super fun to hang out with and I can’t wait until their next visit!
Baby F: 4 Months
It was so much fun to capture this chubby little cherub and spend some time with her wonderful, gracious parents. Isn’t she just a little doll? She did such a great job! Thanks very much for letting me spend the morning with you!
