Christi & Mike’s Wedding

While I receive a few inquiries a year to shoot weddings, they are typically not my kinda gig. (I thoroughly enjoy being second shooter, but primary…not so much. Give me families, kiddos, and newborns and I’m a happy photographer!) However I just could not say no to my sweet, sassy friend Christi. She methodically listed out the many reasons I should do it, and I just could not argue with her! 😉 I’m so very glad she asked me, it was a wonderful, joyful, beautiful day. I’m glad I played a small part in it. She and Mike are so incredibly sweet together. I pray that their marriage is richly blessed and always filled with laughter.

N Family

Knowing her family would all be visiting from out of state, my friend Erin contacted me asking if we could do an extended family shoot. I was excited to work with them and visit with her again. Extended family shoots are one of my favorites to do, as I believe the images produced are the kind that will be treasured for generations.

This fab family met me at Centennial Lakes on a chilly day for their shoot. Everyone stayed in high spirits despite the low temps. They were such a treat to work with, I had so much fun! I was seriously impressed with the kiddos. (As well as the adults, you may pat yourselves on the back for toughing it out too!) Thanks N family for a great shoot! Enjoy your images! 🙂

L & C Engagement Shoot

Chris and my husband are co-workers and when I got an e-mail from him seeing if I was available to take his and his lovely lady’s engagement pictures, I was thrilled! 🙂 They are a very sweet couple! Very much opposites that compliment each other quite well. Lauren has the absolute cutest nose scrunch when she smiles, and has a very bubbly, warm, and kind personality. Chris is incredibly bright, more reserved and laid back. We had so much fun exploring the trails in Murphy-Hanrehan Reserve together and the light was simply gorgeous! Thank you two for spending some time with me! Congratulations and good luck with all of your wonderful, wedding plans! 🙂

K Family: On the Farm

The K family farm is a very short drive from the home my husband grew up in, so every time I visit it’s a bit nostalgic for me. 🙂 The crisp October day was quite chilly but they were all troopers! We did take one quick break to pop inside, snap a few pics in there and thaw ourselves, and then back outside we went. 🙂 These guys are all so laid back and thoughtful, I just love spending time with them! And any opportunity I get to capture images of multi-generational families is a blessing. Thanks for yet another great shoot K family!

F Family

I have twice had the pleasure of capturing this family. Little S has gotten so big. I just love her spunky personality, and big brother G was such an excellent helper throughout the shoot! My favorite part was that we got to capture a few special pics of just mom and dad, who were celebrating 15 happy years of marriage together! Congratulations you two! And thanks for another enjoyable shoot!
