J Family

Last fall I got to take pictures of this very beautiful and very sweet family as well. This year we went to Lake Nokomis for a late summer shoot. Aren’t their outfits just perfectly coordinated? I told K that I was going to hire her to be my stylist for other family sessions! 😉 I can hardly believe how much their children have grown up in a year, time does fly! I just loved seeing all their little personalities come out during the shoot. I have a little bench that we use for painting our home that I made all four kiddos cram on last year, so we had to try to do that shot again. The oldest saying, “Oh no, not this shot again!” I told him we were going to do it every year until they couldn’t fit! The outtakes from those were pretty fantastic. 🙂 Thanks J family for another wonderful session, I can hardly wait to work with you again!

H Family

Little H’s parents and I met at a Bible study at NDSU several years ago. It was so great to catch up and hang out with them for the afternoon. We had so much fun together! This family is so full of joy and love, it was just a pleasure to be able to capture that. Thanks for a great time!

W Family

Growing up I had a lot of very sweet neighbors, and while all three of the W “kids” are older than I am, they were always very nice to me. Grandma S was also my Sunday school teacher once…perhaps even twice. K and I took environmental science together (she as a senior, me as a sophomore.) We even had the same bus driver, Wes. I believe my dad spoke of my grandpa and their grandma as being cousins as well, I’ll have to look into that though. Heeheehee… Aaaah the memories of growing up in a small rural community. 🙂 It just happened that all of the kids and their kiddos would be back home one weekend and they invited me out to capture the whole bunch of ’em! Those kids are adorable and energetic, can ya tell? 😉 We sure had fun though! Thanks so much for having me come take your photos! It was wonderful spending time with you all!

J Family

These folks are just a pleasure to work with. And their kids? Seriously so sweet and laid back. About a year ago I got to shoot big brother B’s one year photos. Since then they have added another adorable little one to their family, a beautiful baby girl! She’s just a few weeks older than my little girl so it was extra fun to capture her. I absolutely love the outfits that mom picked out! Trying to figure out what you might wear for your Christmas card picture? Take note of their great coordination without being too matchy matchy. Love it! J Family thank you so much for a wonderful shoot! (Click on a photo to enlarge it.)

P Family

There was a cute little park near their home that the P family brought me to, allowing dainty little E to play and explore a bit in between shots. The lighting was just perfect and their outfits popped so nicely against the green grass! After our time in the park, they invited me back to their beautiful home to take a few shots there. We even got some with their pet birds! Yoshi was kind enough to pose for the one featured in the gallery. Thanks P Family for a fun shoot!
