It’s been awhile since I had the pleasure of doing a newborn shoot, so I was so excited when this little man’s momma contacted me! Little Z arrived a little earlier than anticipated, but I was so excited to meet him and his family! Everyone was a pleasure to work with (including Duke, their super sweet dog). Itty bitty baby K has such a beautifully sweet little face, and hardly cried at all, though she did want to stay awake to see all the action. 🙂 This little lady is the first little girl in her loving family, but the fourth child. I had the privilege of shooting her handsome older brothers this last fall. While I don’t typically take pictures of nurseries during my newborn shoots, I borderline demanded that I be able to snap a few shots of hers. It is one of the coolest nurseries I have ever seen. Her momma combined so many beautifully bright colors so effortlessly, I love how it turned out! Congratulations D family on the newest member of your family! It was great spending the day with you all!

This beautiful little girl had a very special birthday: 12/12/12! Not many people come into the world with such a fun birthday! Sweet little M’s momma had so many cute ideas for me to try for this newborn shoot. I loved the little Santa hat and the colorful Christmas ornaments that she brought. 🙂 Her big sister S is incredibly photogenic, and did such a great job holding her little sister. I just loved how they turned out, SO sweet. I had a very hard time picking my favorites from that set! Thanks so much H family for sharing your little lady with me for a few hours! My brother and sister-in-law decided to leave the gender a surprise until the birth of their baby, and we were all SO excited to find out that they had a boy! (Our family has had all girls up until this point.) So here he is, my adorable nephew! He was an absolute dream to capture, such a calm and mellow baby. Being that this little boy is going to grow up on the same wonderful farm that I grew up on, we had to have a tractor picture. 🙂 I just LOVE all of his dark hair, and his cute little chin, and his tiny toes, and…all of him. Enjoy the cuteness!

He’s here! It seems like just a week or two ago I was capturing his momma’s beautiful baby bump. Baby D was one big boy when he was born, he was over 11lbs and 23inches long! His parents joked that people were going to confuse these newborn photos with 3 month pictures. 🙂 As you can see, the family is a big fan of the Broncos. My very talented friend, Mallory, made the adorable little hat for Baby D. Doesn’t it match perfectly? Thank you again F family for inviting me to capture your sweet little guy’s first moments!
